Despite the fact that the Faculty of Social Work has been operating since 2020, "Social Work" specialists have been trained since 2016. The faculty also trains personnel for the "Sociology" specialty. The faculty maintains close relations with relevant faculties of other higher schools of the Republic and carries out joint events. The department "Trade union movement and social sciences" operates in the faculty. 1 doctor of sciences and 7 doctors of philosophy are engaged in teaching in the department. Faculty Student Scientific Society regularly organizes round tables, debates, seminars, conferences. Various events are carried out under the faculty trade union organization, trips to the sights and historical places of our country are organized, and intellectual and sports competitions are held. 

The faculty is headed by Sadagat Mammadova.
