The Academy of Labor and Social Relations of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation is the only private higher education institution in our country to profiling labor and social relations. The Academy was founded in 1952 under the name "Courses Base", and in subsequent periods it continued its activities under various names such as "Trade Union Course", "Zone Educational and Methodological Center". Since 2006, the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation's Academy of Labor and Social Relations has been continuing its activities as a private higher education institution.

Today, Academy trains highly qualified personnel in accordance with the requirements of the modern labor market. The Academy has two faculties - "Finance-Economics" and "Social Work". The educational process is organized through 5 departments. At the same time, the departments of "Master's Degree", "Correspondence, additional education and work with foreign students" also operate.

At the bachelor's level, admission is carried out in 6 specialties:

• Public and municipal administration

• Finance

• Accounting

• Economics

At the master's level:

• Finance

• Accounting and audit

• Economics

• Marketing

• Personnel training are carried out in social work specialties.

In addition, training is carried out in various directions for employees of member and subordinate organizations of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation at the "Center for Advanced Training and Personnel Development" operating under the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations. The Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations has set itself the goal of expanding its areas of activity and further improving the quality of education in the coming years. The opening of new specialties, strengthening international cooperation, expanding scientific and research activities, digitalization and technological innovations, social responsibility and inclusion have been identified as priorities.
