Graduation Day Celebrated at the Azerbaijan Academy of Labour and Social Relations


The Azerbaijan Academy of Labour and Social Relations of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation celebrated Graduation Day with a ceremonial event.


The event brought together graduates who completed their bachelor's and master's degree programmes, representatives of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation and its member organizations, the Academy's academic staff, and the graduates' parents.


The ceremony commenced with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a minute of silence in memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country.


Addressing the ceremony, Musa Mirzayev, Deputy Chairperson of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, congratulated the graduates. He emphasized that the youth and education policy founded by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev is being successfully continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and that the development of human capital remains one of the country's key priorities.


It was also noted that the social and innovative projects in science and education initiated by the First Vice-President, Mehriban Aliyeva, make a significant contribution to the personal and professional development of young people.


The speakers highlighted that the Azerbaijan Academy of Labour and Social Relations plays an important role in educating competitive and socially responsible professionals who meet the demands of the modern labour market. Graduates were encouraged to make effective use of the knowledge and skills they had acquired, continuously improve themselves, and contribute to the country's development.


Acting Rector Farid Babayev and Mirza Jafarzadeh, Deputy Chairperson of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Education Employees, spoke about the Academy's achievements in recent years, the expansion of its international cooperation, improvements in the quality of education, and the implementation of innovative teaching approaches. They emphasized the vital role of education in the progress of society and encouraged graduates to actively contribute to Azerbaijan's socio-economic development.


Speaking on behalf of the parents, Nuru Rzali congratulated the graduates, highly appreciated the educational environment created at the Azerbaijan Academy of Labour and Social Relations, expressed gratitude to the academic staff, and wished the young graduates every success in their future careers.


On behalf of the graduating class, Aysel Hasanova, Lamiya Agayeva, and Shahana Guliyeva shared their memories of student life and expressed their gratitude to their teachers and parents for their support and guidance.


At the end of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were presented to graduates who had distinguished themselves through their academic achievements and active participation in the social life of the Academy.
