On June 25, 2026, the Azerbaijan Academy of Labour and Social Relations hosted the “Summit Perspective – Career Planning 2026” event to support the professional development of students and young people.

The main objective of the event was to familiarize young people with the current demands of the labour market, enhance their career planning skills, help them accurately assess their potential, and contribute to the development of a successful professional career roadmap. The event also aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge and skills in human resource management, competencies required in the age of artificial intelligence, CV preparation, interview readiness, and academic career opportunities, thereby supporting their successful integration into the labour market.

Presentations were delivered on the following topics: “Education, Skills and Reality,” “How to Succeed in a Job Interview,” “Effective CV Writing Techniques,” “Career Planning in Higher Education – Building a Career Roadmap,” “Careers in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” and How to Build a Successful Academic Career.”

During their presentations, the speakers shared valuable insights and practical recommendations on the evolving demands of the labour market, strategies for succeeding in the recruitment process, preparing competitive CVs, career planning, developing AI-era competencies, and opportunities for academic career advancement.

The event concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which participants addressed their questions to the speakers and exchanged views on career planning, recruitment processes, and professional development.
