As part of their visit to Türkiye, the delegation of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK) met with Mr. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).

During the meeting, information was provided about the activities of TOBB, and its significant role in the country’s socio-economic life was highlighted.

Representatives of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK) emphasized the favourable conditions established in Azerbaijan for the effective functioning of trade unions and outlined measures taken to protect the labour, social and economic rights of union members, ensure occupational safety, safeguard members’ health, and organise medical treatment and recreation.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation between the two institutions.
