A delegation of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK) is currently on an official visit to Türkiye.

During the visit, the AHIK representatives held meetings with Mr. Ergun Atalay, President of the Confederation of TÜRK-İŞ Trade Unions, and Mr. Uysal Altundağ, Head of the Turk Metal Union.

The meetings focused on the bonds of friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Türkiye. It was emphasized that thanks to the mutual efforts and political will of the Heads of State - H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev and H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan - cooperation between the two countries has reached the highest level in all areas.

It was noted that the growing relations between the trade unions of Azerbaijan and Türkiye serve the interests of their members, while the ongoing exchange of experience plays an important role in the protection of labor rights.

The parties also exchanged views on further strengthening and expanding cooperation between the trade union organizations of both countries.
