Student scholarships in higher education institutions

Regardless of whether they are studying at state expense or on a paid basis, full-time students of higher and secondary specialized education institutions are granted scholarships based on their general average achievement indicator (GPA).

Whether a student receives a scholarship in each subsequent semester, or the amount of the scholarship he or she will receive, is based on the results of his or her previous semester exams. Like students studying on a free basis, students studying on a paid basis can also receive a scholarship, but this depends on the student's exam results.

The granting of scholarships is determined by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan
