The correspondence form of education at the Academy began in the 2019-2020 academic year, with the teaching process in Accounting and Auditing, Economics and Finance specialties. Based on the large number of applications, the “Correspondence, Additional Education and Work with Foreign Students” department was established at the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations on 23.09.2022. The number of specialties in which personnel training is carried out in the department, which has been developing year by year, has reached six (Economics, Finance, Accounting, State Municipal Administration, Social Work, Marketing).
As a new direction in this development, in accordance with the “Procedure for the Content, Organization of Additional Education and Issuance of the Relevant Document to Persons Having Studied in Any Direction of Additional Education” approved by the Resolution No. 163 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 6, 2010, the department has started to organize the teaching of repeated higher education in the specialties listed above only on a paid basis, in the form of correspondence education. Education is carried out on the basis of contracts concluded between individuals and legal entities who have registered for repeated higher education on the portal.edu.az website and successfully completed the competition, and on the basis of specially prepared educational programs, taking into account the difference between the basic education program.
The organization of education on the basis of contracts concluded in accordance with paragraphs 3.1-1, 3.1.5. of the Rules for the Study of Foreigners and Stateless Persons in the Republic of Azerbaijan approved by the Resolution No. 125 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 1, 2015, began in 2022. The reception of citizens from various foreign countries increased the diversity of many of the Academy's events and seminars.
