The Center for Economic Research and Innovations, one of the three centers established in accordance with the Academy's Strategic Development Plan (SDP) to form the organization-development environment of Science and Innovation, was approved by the Scientific Council of the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations (AALSR) with its Statute (protocol 8) dated March 31, 2023.

The establishment of the Center, which is engaged in the formation of scientific research and research works and the preparation of research requirements, was one of the target goals of the AALSR in the SDP.

This Center, established at the Academy, plays an important role in conducting scientific research by the teaching staff, doctoral students and master's students and expanding the research sphere.

The 5-member staff of the Center for Economic Research and Innovations consists of leading teachers of 2 specialized departments.

The work plan of the Center for Economic Research and Innovations is updated and compiled at the beginning of each year. The list of works provided for in the work plan

A scientific seminar was held. The topic of the scientific seminar was “International Transportation: Transit Opportunities, Regional Projects and Priorities” and was organized on November 5, 2024. The program of the scientific seminar was prepared in advance and submitted to the relevant departments.

According to the work plan, the next Event is scheduled for April 2025. Preparations are underway for the event.
