Innovation And Career Department

The Innovation and Career Department of the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations was established in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Education No. 833-IIIQ of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 19, 2009.

The regulations of the Innovation and Career Department of the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations were approved by the decision of the meeting of the Academic Council of the Academy dated September 14, 2020 (pr. No. 01). Since September 15, 2020, Hikmet Mirzayev has been serving as the Head of the Innovation and Career Department.

The Department intends to carry out its activities in accordance with the current legislation, on the basis of agreements and contracts concluded with state and private enterprises.

It provides advice and guidance on career planning of senior students studying at the Academy, preparing them for the world of work.

The main purpose of the establishment of the department is to increase the knowledge, soft and hard skills and habits of young people, and to implement complex organizational, information, consulting, and educational measures to solve their employment problems.

DIRECTIONS OF ACTIVITY OF THE INNOVATION AND CAREER DEPARTMENT:

Preparation of an electronic database of bachelor's and master's students;

Organization and holding of annual job fairs for young people;

Holding fairs is the final stage of the educational process, and to assist in providing graduates with jobs in a market economy for the national education system;

Provision of consulting services and preparation of projects in various fields;

Ensuring participation in events related to membership in the Council of Career Centers established by the State Employment Agency;

Expansion of cooperation with Career Centers operating in higher education institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
